Loved this place!!

Just came back from this place one week ago. This place is high end and worth every penny. Service was the best and the property was immaculate. Also, the hotel was full and we never really could figure out why we really didn't see so many people at the pool. Their pool is incredible and this place is worth paying for and visting once in your life. We really can't stop thinking about this place and it's incredible spa also. We are going back three times a year

Amazing experience!

I can’t say enough positive things about this resort! From the service to the food, everything exceeded my expectations! We stayed in Room 2814, a one bedroom suite & it was gorgeous! The views were beyond great! Our room was cleaned in the morning then again in the evening. The side turned into a bed that was also comfortable. Our room was stocked daily with drinks & snacks. The food and service by the pool staff was super! Honestly, every staff member we came across was attentive & caring. We never wanted for anything! We will definitely be returning to this resort soon!! Thank you for a great time!

Wonderful surprise

Loved the older ambiance of this charming smaller all inclusive resort. Beautiful landscaping and many different birds. From the moment we checked in with Gabe and kennth things were wonderful. Restaurants great , excellent food and service with a special thanks to Miquel and Christina at la Ribera as well as Enrique and Raul and Andres. Wonderful massage from Christina and facial from Jenny. Great evening fun with much going o

Good when I wanted great.. lovely for a nice getaway

I'll first say that I'm not into the all-inclusive resorts as there is always one area where they can't meet my expectation..and it's generally the food. We settled the resort bc it was a good price for the five days were there. I'm not sure how this gets a Best All-Inclusive. The resort is literally 5 minutes from PVR airport. The hotel will arrange transportation (one-way only) and it's charged to your room..you DO NOT need to pay the driver. $12. Instructions to meet the host and escort to car are clear and easy to understand. A taxi will only cost you $5 USD going back. SERVICE: Excellent! Valentina at the concierge was wonderful. All the staff at the front desk, restaurants, and pool were really friendly and warm. Very accommodating and eager to make our stay special. Restaurants have theme nights..and they will make some off menu items. FOOD: Ok, here we go. There are only TWO restaurants at the resort. The impression you get from the website is there are more. We never ate the crepes (made in the lobby) but they looked good. Andrea was the best restaurant for dinner and La Roberta (sorry forgot) as great for breakfast buffet or off the menu. The view of the ocean in the morning was lovely. Green juice and fruit buffet..yummy, plus the granola was so good. My friend ordered chicken enchiladas one brunch/morning and they arrived cold. I don't know how that can happen..but it did. They will specially prepare omelets, pancakes, and waffles which are very good. Seafood at Andrea is very good. We typically made a salad from the salad bar and then ordered off the menu. They will also make an entry appetizer size if you wish. Bottles of wine can be ordered and taken back to your room. Desserts were so mediocre. All tasted the same and pretty lackluster. Looked good, but taste no mi bueno. ROOM: lovely and very well maintained. Our mini bar and room were clean, well stocked. Zero issues here. Nice balcony overlooking gardens too. Oh, the peacocks weren't as bad as people have mentioned in other reviews. Yes, we heard them but didn't keep us up. You can bring your standard hairdryer as they have US plugs/voltage. They have mini dryer on the wall. Shower in our bathroom was good and it's a big walk in stall..no tub. POOLS: the pool closest to the lobby is best if you want quiet and not 'spring break' atmosphere and family/kid stuff. There is a kids pool, but families imposed themselves with floaty animals and toys in the pool closets to the beach. We just moved when it got too loud. Swimming at the beach is not recommended bc of the undercurrent, but the water is warm and makes for a change from the pool. There are nice chairs and cabanas set up for the guests. VERY clean around pools - no leftover cups. Oh, thank you for using reusable cups and no straws.. loved seeing this! They will bring you food at the pool..order the shrimp tacos. Ceviche was disappointing. Was like cooked fish thrown into pico de guyo..blah. Guacamole always looked like it came from a Trader Joe's box/package too. We are in Mexico, I want fresh guac! ENTERTAINMENT: Nightly in the lobby. Do not expect a hoppin' nightlife or bar scene here. We sat through one night called Circus Night. And honestly, it felt like a senior home entertainment night. People loved the Mexican Fiesta night, but we didn't go. One suggestion: the lobby is SOO big they could add a really nice bar and cocktail lounge--beautiful seating etc. It would be nice to have before going off-prem for dinner, going into town, or one last cocktail before heading to the airport etc. There are many return guests or people who buy into the timeshares. We were NEVER approached or felt pressure to discuss or take a tour. Also, there are vendors on the beach, but you can go up to them vs. feeling pressure
