The employees are some of the most polite we have ever encountered. Enjoyed the boardwalk. Cab fairs were very reasonable and easy to find

Many resorts to choose from and my friend and I were so glad to have chosen this one! I can't say enough about the pleasant experience from start to finish. The accomodations were very clean and comfortable, and the resort grounds were spectacularly maintained and easy to navigate. Being on the all-inclusive plan, we found the restaurants to have variety and high quality foods. We were able to eat at all 3 restaurants on property-all were wonderful! Appreciated the ability to have an early morning coffee on a day that we had an early tour. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. I can't wait to return and will definitely recommend this property to my East Coast friends!

The Velas Vallarta is a family resort with so much amenities. Two large pools, a kiddie pool. Three restaurants, Tennis courts, Basketball courts, Lawn games, Ping Pong, Pool Volleyball, beach Volleyball, Beach huts lounge chairs, umbrella tables everywhere and the pool bar are all included whether you get the All Inclusive or not. Obviously you have to pay for the food at the restaurants and beverages at the bars if you don’t get the all inclusive. But everything else is included. Enough to keep teens busy! The room we stayed in was the 3 bedroom suite on the 8th floor. The suite had a full galley kitchen, dinning table for 6 inside and outside on the Balcony. Plenty of space out on the Balcony with Lounge chairs, conversation sets and a Hot Tub/ pool. The rooms were immaculate and our housekeeper Lidia was awesome. She made sure we had everything we needed(ie...frying pan, matches etc..). One of the Best vacations I’ve taken! Thanks Velas! I’ll be back

While the resort is quite beautiful and accommodations are great, the gym (spa) here is completely inadequate. Never a problem before because we were allowed to use the gym at their sister resort, Casa Velas. Now, we are told we cannot use the other gym .... it’s closed to us until May because it’s busy season ! The gym here at Velas vallarta holds two elipticals, two treadmills and one bike; that’s it. It’s basically a 9x9 room with 5 pieces of cardio equipment. Very disappointed that management has changed their policy
