Hotel Vellas Vallarta is the best hotel in the Jalisco section of Puerto Vallarta! It's an amazing work of art both architecturally and emotionally, it has two amazing dining options called Andrea and La Rivera. La Ribera is an amazing place to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner with ocean view and Andrea as an extremely fancy dinning experience that also serves breakfast lunch and dinner but you'll need a reservation and former dress code for dinner because that's where the delicious cuisine of this hotel really shines because there is live entertainment, a buffet serving gourmet food or you can order with a menu. Each night the theme is different, it can either be Japanese food or Italian all you can eat custom pasta or even Filet mignon. The pool is also an incredible place to lounge at, there are two main pools, the family pool and the activity pool. The family pool is a warmer pool with a rock waterfall, tables, a towel return station and a charming feel to it and the activity is the larger deeper and slightly colder pool that has a net for water volleyball, a pool bar with stools in the water, iguanas lounging about and various activities in the day. Taking about the iguanas there is also a bunch of wildlife in the hotel and the iguanas is just the tip of the iceberg because there are peacocks, ducks, racoons at night, koi fish ponds spread it across the hotel, smaller lizards, an eagle, many birds and a big diversity in botanical plants. The rooms are on a completely different stratosphere than other I've been because it doesn't matter if you have a suite or not you get a kitchen with a fridge, stove, microwave and cabinets to store anything. The sheets are one of the best highlights yet with soft mattress and when they make your room they give you chocolate, what a treat. Overall this hotel is the best hotel to choose from in the Riviera and is truly a hidden gem.

Fui con mi familia de vacaciones y no conocíamos el hotel, nos gustó mucho desde la recepción, las albercas, el personal fue muy atento en los restaurantes, en el servicio en la alberca, la comida es variada y las porciones muy grandes, las bebidas bien preparadas. El restaurante de la playa está muy bien también, tienen servicio de buffet y a la carta, todo está incluido. Para cenar hay que hacer reservación en otro restaurante y todos los días cambia la temática, la comida con muy buen sazón y buenas porciones, también es buffet y a la carta. Reservamos una suite que era muy grande, era más bien como un departamento, tenía cocina muy grande, muy equipada, sala, comedor y terraza, estuvimos muy cómodos. Hay varios estanques con peces Koi de todos tamaños, hay patos, varias iguanas y también tienen pavoreales. En la tienda del hotel te venden comida para darle de comer a los peces, a mi hijo le encantaron. Nos tocaron los últimos partidos del mundial de fútbol y pusieron una pantalla enorme con catering y meseros en el centro de convenciones, el servicio muy bien y todos muy amables, sin duda regresaríamos a este hotel en próximas vacaciones
