This all inclusive resort is absolutely amazing. Do not hesitate to book your vacation there. We enjoyed a memorable vacation there in February. Exquisite sea food cuisine. Great staff. The suite we stayed in is quite spacious with a kitchenette and a balcony with a view. We enjoyed the fun entertaining program in the evenings. There is a hotel shuttle to discos every night at 10:30. They have a different dinner theme every night. We enjoyed the mariachi band every evening at the beach restaurant. There is a Mexican fiesta dinner that was superb. It’s 10 minutes from the airport. It’s 10-15 min Uber drive to down town. It’s quite safe. Would love to go back there any time

Great resort with many amenities and two outstanding restaurants on site. Within walking distance of the Puerto Vallarta Marina with many shops and restaurants. Every Thursday evening there is a craft show at the marina

This is a beautiful property, however their placement of the smoking areas was not well thought out. With so few places to smoke on the property, it makes it difficult for smokers and non smokers. I am a respectful smoker and the placement of their smoking areas is where all non smokers have to walk through to get to the restaurant or activity pools

We have been to Mexico every year for about a dozen years. We've stayed at numerous places on both coasts…this has been the best inclusive resort that we've since stayed at…some highlights: • the place is extraordinarily clean…love that basic criteria… • amazing, prompt and friendly customer service… • easy to navigate…some of these resorts are unfortunately complicated to get around…not Velas Vallarta…very easy to navigate • amazing food…it's top quality and good…although many places promise this, not everyone delivers…great food quality at Velas Vallarta • close to the airport…believe me, after you've done several 2 hour+ trips in buses getting back and forth to your resort, proximity to the airport becomes quite important • LOVE the pool environment…the pools are warm…so fun to navigate between them…great swim-up bar…good sized liquor allotments, not just small amounts of liquor with over-sized soda, cream etc. • some staff highlights…Concierge and First-Aid attendant Miguel - outstanding! Pool-side attendant Ivan - remarkable! Front lobby waitress - Rosa (?) - great customer service! I could list many, many more… We would go back in a nano-second
