My wife and I choose the Velas for our wedding in February, and couldn't be happier with the exceptional service we received. Our wedding coordinator (Daniel), worked non stop to make it a beautiful experience from the start of our stay. Velas set us up in a beautiful room with amazing views, 24 hour room service, and non stop fun and activities. I can't wait to be back!

We spent a delightful week here in March 2016 with my kids and grandkids (aged 2-6) - 10 in all. We spent most of the day either in the pools or eating. The food was only surpassed by the excellent service. Watching the sun set into the Pacific from the Ribera restaurant was a highlight.

I don't know how Velas Vallarta does it but ALL their staff is SO friendly and will do anything to make your experience amazing. Example: I asked if they had hot chocolate at the outdoor restaurant and the server said no but said he will see what he can do. 10 minutes later he came back with hot chocolate for me (he made it from chocolate syrup with milk and he frothed the milk using the cappuccino machine--BRILLIANT!)! The pools are always clean and beautiful. There is more food than you know what to do with. And the strawberry coladas...are to die for (I switched rum for vodka and loved it even more). I'm just saying, it doesn't get much better for an all-inclusive resort.
