La Ribera Restaurant: With incredible vistas of Puerto Vallarta and the Sierra Madre Mountains, the oceanfront and outdoor La Ribera serves delicious Mexican, Spanish, and international cuisine, including fine cuts of steak, fresh seafood, delicious gourmet burgers, sumptuous salads, mouthwatering ceviches, and authentic Mexican dishes. La Ribera offers a bountiful breakfast buffet, a la carte lunch, and specialty themed dinner menus.

Seasonal Restaurant

Enjoy traditional Mexican cantina food, international cuisine, and drinks accompanied by live music from talented singers every night. Dishes such as smoked fish prepared Mexican-style, classic empanadas, and flavorful meats and poultry are all on the gourmet menu. Dine each night to the soft sounds of typical Mexican and stay later in the night for a mariachi band performance. The restaurant is open from November to April, subject to change without prior notice.

Aqua Bar

Surrounded by the crystal-clear blue swimming pool and beautiful tropical gardens, our resort swim-up bar serves refreshing exotic drinks at the main pool along with inspiring views of Banderas Bay. Join us every Sunday for an unforgettable evening at the best Mexican fiesta in Marina Vallarta, featuring a mariachi band and Mexican folk-dance. As a complement to the festivities of the night, a gourmet Mexican buffet and delectable dessert table is served.

Is there a dress code for the restaurants at Velas Vallarta?

Yes, guests should comply with the following attire:

Andrea:

  • Casual during the day (shirts must be worn, and bathing suits are prohibited).
  • Elegant-casual in the evening (collared shirt, pants, and closed-toe shoes for men; dresses, skirts, or pants for women; beach sandals, shorts, and tank tops are prohibited).

La Ribera: Casual (shorts and a t-shirt or shirt for men, bathing suit with wrap or cover-up for women). Wet bathing suits are not allowed.

Do I need a reservation for the Fiesta Mexicana?

No, reservations are only required for dinner at Andrea restaurant.
