Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (February
25, 2014) – Mexican TV personality Chef
Yolanda Yanar takes center stage each week with a live cooking show of
traditional Mexican dishes at Puerto Vallarta's luxury all-inclusive resort,
Velas Vallarta. Hotel guests are treated to a demonstration of dishes
from across all regions of the country, including appetizers, entrees and
desserts. Sample plates have included chicken in varied moles made from
scratch, Mexican flan, Tres Leches cake, and tortilla soup. Participants are
invited to join the chef on stage preparing three separate dishes.
Guests can enjoy a sampling of the plates featured in the show.
And recipes are provided to recreate the delectable dishes at home. Chef
Yanar has an impressive professional background, having trained at the American
Culinary Institute in the Napa Valley and at Cordon Bleu.
"We started this program with seven guests and within three weeks the numbers
have souffled to 70 each session," said Luis Angarita, Managing Director. "We
also added mixology lessons including preparation of flavored margaritas,
coladas and tequila based drinks as part of the Mexican cooking show," he
continued.
