This morning I heard the excited squeal of a delighted five-year-old when she spotted a peacock roaming freely around the garden. This afternoon I heard the cheer of a triumphant nine-year old as he discovered ‘treasure' in the kids' club treasure hunt. And as the sun began to sink into Banderas Bay, I heard the laughs of parents as they paddled in the waves and posed for photographs with their kids and captured precious memories that they'll treasure forever.

And as I wander around resort's beautifully-manicured gardens and spotless sands, I can't help but notice that families just love this resort - and this resort just loves them right back.

So, what's Lynne's favourite thing about vacationing with her family here at Velas Vallarta?
"Wow… I guess there are two answers to that," she muses."One is that my favorite destination is Puerto Vallarta. It always has been, so I love the location of this property. The other is that this resort has a lot of authenticity to it. It's true Mexico, you know. I just feel at home here."
